Powerhouse Designers & Netflix Stars Jason Bolden and Adair Curtis to be Honored with the Visibility Award at Family Equality’s LA Impact Gala in October

The trailblazing, trendsetting gay dads will be honored during a star-studded program to garner support for LGBTQ+ family equality


Los Angeles, CA — Family Equality, the nation’s leading organization for current and future LGBTQ+ families, is delighted to announce that celebrity stylist, Jason Bolden, and interior designer, Adair Curtis, will be honored with the Visibility Award at LA Impact: A Night of Heroes at Paramount Studios on October 15. Jason and Adair join a star-studded program hosted by comedians Alec Mapa and Melissa Peterman and featuring performances by RuPaul Drag Race star, Nina West, comedian Dana Goldberg, The Voice semifinalist Rayshun Lamarr, DJ Asha, and more. Alongside co-host Alec Mapa, Emmy-Award-winning actor and author Dan Bucatinsky serves as an event chair.

History-making entrepreneurs, partners, and parents to baby Arrow, Jason and Adair are two of the most sought-after talents in the fashion, interior design, and entertainment industries. From founding JSN STUDIO to welcoming major streaming services like Netflix into their homes for Styling Hollywood, Jason and Adair have forged new pathways within and around spaces that have a long history of excluding Black, Bold, Queer creators like them. 

Married in love and in business, Jason and Adair founded JSN STUDIO, a multidisciplinary styling and interior design firm. In 2019, Jason and Adair’s show Styling Hollywood premiered on Netflix. And earlier this year, JSN STUDIO was honored as a member of the coveted 1stDibs 50 List. About LA IMPACT: A Night of Heroes

LA Impact: A Night Of Heroes will take place at Paramount Studios on October 15. With more than 300 anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced in states across the country in 2022, the event offers celebrities, supporters, and community luminaries, the opportunity to harness their collective powers in the fight for LGBTQ+ families. Past honorees have included Greg Berlanti, Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry, Mayor Annise Parker, Glee, Modern Family, Transparent, Johnson & Johnson, and Target.
